The outbreak of the COVID-19 novel coronavirus has impacted operations and planning for the 2020 season, including our annual Memorial Day commemoration. In collaboration with The Battle Within Foundation, the Buffalo & Erie County Naval & Military Park will offer a Memorial Day weekend salute by installing 7,300 flags throughout the Monuments Garden. Each flag represents a United States Veteran who lost their battle with PTSD in the past year.
For a $20.20 donation, you will receive one of the flags from our Memorial Day weekend salute along with a certificate. A portion of the proceeds will benefit The Battle Within Foundation. The ongoing mission for The Battle Within Foundation is to connect Veterans with the care they need and to help with funding.
