Take a tour of the largest inland Naval Park in the United States
We offer a variety of tour options for your visit. There is so much to see on board USS The Sullivans, USS Little Rock, and USS Croaker, as well as our museum building and grounds. We recommend planning at least 2 hours for your visit to the Buffalo Naval & Military Park. When touring most areas of the ships, visitors should expect to traverse narrow passageways, be able to step over significantly raised thresholds, and climb up and down very steep ladders.
A Self-Guided Tour allows you full access to the ships and the museum. Here you can walk at your own pace while experiencing the displays, exhibits, and artifacts. Tickets for a Self-Guided Tour can be purchased online or in person at the Museum Gift Shop for the standard admission price.
If you are interested in exploring the USS The Sullivans, USS Little Rock, and USS Croaker with a knowledgeable tour guide, then this is the tour for you! Take a guided tour of the Buffalo Naval & Military Park with a docent to learn even more about the largest inland Naval Park in the country. Bring your questions and learn more about life aboard ship. After the tour, you are welcome to explore the ships, submarine, museum, and grounds on your own at your leisure.
Any group or school with 10 or more people can take advantage of touring the ships at a special group rate. Group tours may be guided or self-guided and must be booked in advance in order to receive the discounted rate. If you are interested in booking a school or group tour, please visit our Group Page or contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
The M&T Bank Audio Tour is included in the standard admission price and allows our visitors to hear more about our exhibits in greater detail. This 32-stop tour is narrated by crew who served aboard the the USS Little Rock and USS Croaker. And on the USS The Sullivans, the narration is done by a very special guest: Kelly Sullivan, the only granddaughter of the five Sullivan Brothers! Audio Tours can be picked up at the Museum Gift Shop or the Welcome Center Kiosk.
