From May 20th through May 24th, retired crewmen of the USS Little Rock and their families will reunite with their former home. The Little Rock sailors, and sailors from her sister-ships, sleep aboard the Light Cruiser and help out with maintenance projects to keep her "shipshape."
Throughout Memorial Day weekend, 7,300 flags will blanket the grounds of the Buffalo & Erie County Naval & Military Park to represent the United States Veterans who have lost their battle with PTSD. From May 23-25, drive by the Naval Park to see the installation and please wear a mask and maintain social distancing if you choose to walk through the grounds.
