Tours

A Self-Guided Tour allows you full access to the ships and the museum. Here you can walk at your own pace while experiencing the displays, exhibits, and artifacts. Tickets for a Self-Guided Tour can be purchased online or in person at the Museum Gift Shop for the standard admission price.

The M&T Bank Audio Tour is included in the standard admission price and allows our visitors to hear more about our exhibits in greater detail. This 32-stop tour is narrated by crew who served aboard the the USS Little Rock and USS Croaker. And on the USS The Sullivans, the narration is done by a very special guest: Kelly Sullivan, the only granddaughter of the five Sullivan Brothers! Audio Tours can be picked up at the Museum Gift Shop or the Welcome Center Kiosk.

A Guided Tour must be booked in advance. This tour allows you to learn from a volunteer docent who will explain the ships and exhibits in depth while telling their own personal “sea stories.” Docent Tours are available Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Docent Tours can be booked online or by emailing education@buffalonavalpark.org.

The Curator Tour is a special behind the scenes tour offered on a limited basis for $50 per person. This tour will give an in-depth look at the collections, as well as some of the challenges in preserving these important artifacts for future generations. Curator Tours can be booked online or by emailing education@buffalonavalpark.org.
