Fantail Flicks

Presented by the Rotary Club of Buffalo and the Buffalo and Erie County Naval & Military Park, join us this summer for Fantail Flicks, a new movie night series aboard the Fantail of USS Little Rock. Doors open at 7:00 PM, and the movie will begin immediately following a pre-film presentation at 7:30 PM.

Each movie night will be free to attend but a ticket is REQUIRED as space is very limited.

Movie-style concessions will be available for purchase.

Sunday, June 18: DEVOTION
Devotion is the story of the friendship between naval officers Jesse Brown and Tom Hudner during the Korean War. It stars Jonathan Majors as Ensign Jesse Brown, the first African-American aviator to complete the United States Navy’s basic flight training program.

Saturday, July 1: DUNKIRK
In May 1940, Germany advanced into France, trapping Allied troops on the beaches of Dunkirk. Under air and ground cover from British and French forces, troops were slowly and methodically evacuated from the beach using every serviceable naval and civilian vessel that could be found. At the end of this heroic mission, 330,000 French, British, Belgian, and Dutch soldiers were safely evacuated.

The Top Gun Naval Fighter Weapons School is where the best of the best train to refine their elite flying skills.
