
Celebrate Veterans Day at the Buffalo Naval Park. Veterans with ID receive free admission. The Naval Park will be open from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM, with last admission at 3:00 PM.
Join us for a Veterans Day ceremony in the Hangar Building at 10:00 AM. It is free and open to the public.
At 12:00 PM, an outdoor ceremony will take place at the Hispanic American Veterans Memorial.
The Omega Psi Phi Fraternity will host a ceremony in the Hangar Building at 2:00 PM which will conclude with a wreath laying at the African American Veterans Monument. At 4:00 PM, the Buffalo Retired Old Men Eating Out (BROMEOs) and African American Veterans Monument, Inc. will host the 2025 Outstanding Citizens Award ceremony to honor five veterans: World War II U.S. Army veteran Colonel Luther Burnette, Command Sergeant Major Henry W. Curtis, Sergeant First Class Reverend Eugene L. Pierce, Corporal Monica Lynch, and Sergeant Richard Clark.
All ceremonies are free and open to the public.
The Radio Association of Western New York will be operating on the air from the radio room aboard USS Little Rock on both Saturday, November 8 and Tuesday, November 11. They will welcome visitors to stop by and ask questions. Kids can send their name in morse code and earn a certificate.
