VJ Day: Victory Over Japan

Join our Curator and Director of Museum Collections, Shane Stephenson, for Deck Talks at the Naval Park! Learn about the Potsdam Proclamation and surrender of Japan to end World War II. The Proclamation will be read aloud and discussed in depth.

These talks are free and will take place outdoors at a social distance, across from USS Croaker.

Future Deck Talks on a variety of topics will take place on October 9. They will start at 11:30 AM and 2:30 PM and will last approximately 20 minutes.
