In celebration of the Navy’s birthday, we invite veterans to join a virtual tour of maritime-themed artworks and an artmaking experience presented by the Albright-Knox and the Buffalo & Erie County Naval & Military Park. Participants will learn some introductory drawing and painting skills that center around the power of nature and the beauty of the sea, inspired by Sandra Cinto’s Tempest in Red, 2009, and other works from the Albright-Knox’s collection. Artists of all levels of experience are welcome. Bring a pencil, pen, or whatever you like to draw with; some watercolors, markers, or crayons for painting or coloring; and some paper.
