The Buffalo & Erie County Naval & Military Park is a unique location to host a wide variety of special events. Whether it is a reunion, social gathering, or corporate event, the Buffalo Naval Park has a space to meet your needs!

The Admirals Quarters

For smaller gatherings like a luncheon or corporate meeting, the Admirals Quarters aboard the USS Little Rock is ideal. This area seats up to 30 people in a conference-style arrangement and contains a kitchenette and restroom. The space is air conditioned and rich with history. This space also works well as a Bridal Suite when rented in conjunction with the Fantail. An elevator is available to take guests who require additional assistance onto the deck of the USS Little Rock. This elevator is accessed with assistance of the Naval Park’s staff.

-Cost: $300
-Rental Includes: Private room, 3 hours of set up prior to event, 5 event hours, 1 clean up hour, large conference table, and 30 chairs

The Fantail

The Fantail of the USS Little Rock is the perfect setting for outdoor summer events. A large party, wedding receptions, birthday celebrations, or banquets can be staged on the canopied fantail. The space can accommodate 140 guests for a sit-down dinner and up to 280 guests for a standing room only function. Facility restrooms located below deck on the ship. Guests who require additional assistance can access restrooms on the deck of the ship. An elevator is also available to take guests who require additional assistance onto the deck of the USS Little Rock. This elevator is accessed with assistance of the Naval Park’s staff.

-Cost: Minimum $650.00 for the first 100 people, with an additional $7.00 per person over 100
-Rental Includes: Private access to stern of ship, 3 hours of set up prior to event, 5 event hours, 2 clean up hours, guest and catering/buffet tables, and guest chairs

The Forecastle

The Forecastle of the USS Little Rock (Naval term pronounced as focsul, meaning forward part of the ship) is the most picturesque space at the Naval Park. Whether you are looking for a space to hold your intimate wedding ceremony, or having a small event that requires spectacular views and quiet conversation, this is the perfect rental space for you! The Forecastle is canopied and can accommodate 40 seated guests and up to 80 guests for a standing room only function. Facility restrooms are located toward the aft of the ship below decks. Guests who require additional assistance can access restrooms on the deck of the ship. An elevator is also available to take guests who require additional assistance onto the deck of the USS Little Rock. This elevator is accessed with assistance of the Naval Park’s staff.

-Cost: $350 (discount available when renting both the Fantail and Forecastle)
-Rental Includes: Private access to bow of ship, 3 hours of set up prior to event, 5 event hours, 2 clean up hours, guest and catering/buffet tables, and guest chairs

The Hangar Building
UNAVAILABLE UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE due to renovation

The Museum Hangar Building holds the Naval Park’s prestigious Wall of Honor, and is the perfect location for your reunion group, birthday party, or family picnic! Share a meal while viewing some of the Park’s most interesting artifacts. The space can accommodate 60 guests for a seated event and approximately 100 guests for a standing room only function. Facility restrooms are located across the cobblestones on the first floor inside the museum.

-Cost: $350
-Rental Includes: Private access to the building, 3 hours of set up prior to the event, 5 event hours, 2 clean up hours, guest and catering/buffet tables, and guest chairs

The Park

If an event demands a location to meet a grand scale, the entire Park can be made available. A company party, civic function, or convention can take advantage of the Park grounds and ship facilities.

FACILITY RENTAL POLICIES AND INFORMATION

-Event dates are only held upon completion of a Rental Contract. Once a contract has been signed by both parties, the renter has one (1) week to pay a 50% deposit for the Facility Rental.
-The remaining balance is due five (5) business days prior to your event.
-In order to host an event at the Buffalo Naval Park, the renter must purchase Event Insurance, and supply the Park with a certificate of insurance listing the Buffalo & Erie County Naval & Military Park (minimum liability coverage is required).
– Currently, there is no assigned caterer for the Park. However, any caterer you choose to service your event must have the appropriate permits/licenses/insurance, including a liquor permit if applicable, and must provide a copy to the Naval Park.
– There are no equipped kitchen facilities for event use at the Naval Park.
– Parking is limited near the Naval Park. Across Marine Drive, there is a lot with 25 free reserved Naval Park parking spots. Additional street parking is available, as well as $3 parking at the Harbor Center Parking Garage.

-Your facility rental fee includes tables, chairs and equipment; the following are available:

        • 200 Folding Chairs
        • 15 8’ Rectangular Banquet Tables
        • 5 6’ Rectangular Banquet Tables
        • 6 60” Round Tables
        • 6 Cocktail Tables
        • Battery-operated PA system with Microphone
        • Podium
            • Additional services and supplies, such as catering, linens, a/v equipment, lighting, etc., must be rented through an outside vendor. Vendors who wish to perform a site visit must make an appointment. Vendors may only deliver and pick up items within this time frame. Naval Park Staff are not responsible for coordinating or directing the event.
    • The following items are not permitted at the Naval Park:
        • Sparklers or open flames
        • Glassware (bottled beer is prohibited; caterers may use bottles of wine and spirits but they must be kept behind the bar)
        • Artificial flower petals
        • Confetti
        • Rice
        • Smoking
        • Animals
        • Nails, screws or tape may not be used to hang decorations
        • Cooking equipment, including, but not limited to grills, fryers, hot plates, and microwaves
        • All candles must be fully contained within containers. LED candles are preferred
        • Illicit drugs
