DESCRIPTION:Join the Buffalo Naval & Military Park’s Curator and Director of Museum Collections\, Shane Stephenson\, for a special behind the scenes tour of USS Little Rock. \nThis tour will give an in-depth look at our collections and highlight some of the challenges in preserving these important artifacts for future generations. Visit spaces on board the USS Little Rock that are not available on any of our other tours. \nEach tour will last approximately 2 hours and will be limited to 10 people. When touring most areas of the ship\, visitors should expect to traverse narrow passageways\, be able to step over significantly raised thresholds\, and climb up and down very steep ladders. We recommend that you wear comfortable clothes\, closed-toe shoes\, and bring a flashlight. \nCurator Tours will take place at 1:00 PM. \nClick here to purchase your tickets!

DESCRIPTION:The Buffalo and Erie County Naval & Military Park proudly recognizes all Western New York students who are enlisting in the United States Military. The 2nd Annual Military Student Recognition Ceremony will take place on Tuesday\, June 28 at 7:00 PM. Student recruits from the Class of 2022 enlisting in all five military branches will be honored at this special evening event on the Fantail of USS Little Rock CLG-4. The ceremony will be open by invitation only\, but the public is invited to attend a virtual live stream of the event.
