DESCRIPTION:The Buffalo and Erie County Naval & Military Park is hosting an online geranium sale just in time for spring and Mother’s Day. Three-inch pots of patriot red\, white\, or lavender blue geraniums are available for $3.00 per plant or $50 per flat (20 plants). Twelve-inch patio hanging baskets of geraniums with a spike in the middle are available for $30 each. All flowers are supplied by Agle Farm. \nFlats can be customized to include 2 or 3 colors. Choose the “Create Your Own Flat” option and then indicate the total quantity of each color you want in the check out page (total must equal 20 per flat). \nPre-sale Only; Orders are due by Monday\, May 2. Curbside pick-up will be available at the Buffalo Naval & Military Park on Friday\, May 6 from 1pm to 6pm and Saturday\, May 7 from 10am to 3pm.  \nFlowers must be picked up in person. If you are unable to pick up your flowers\, you may designate someone to pick them up on your behalf. They will not be forgotten.\nPlan your visit to the Buffalo and Erie County Naval & Military Park during Memorial Day weekend as we remember those who fought for our freedom.  The Buffalo Naval & Military Park will be reopening to the public on May 28! Visit us Memorial Day weekend from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM\, with last admission at 4:00 PM. USS Little Rock and USS Croaker will be open along with the museum building. USS The Sullivans will remain closed as work continues to preserve and maintain the ship. Purchase your tickets for a self-guided tour by clicking here. The community is welcome to join us and the United States Naval Sea Cadet Corps Sullivans Division for a lunchtime Memorial Day cookout at the pavilion in our Monuments Garden. In traditional picnic style\, hot dogs will be available for purchase. We are proud to be hosting a number of ceremonies and events throughout the weekend. One Life – One Flag Installation May 28 – 30 \nThroughout Memorial Day weekend\, 7\,300 flags will blanket the grounds of the Buffalo and Erie County Naval & Military Park to represent the average number of United States Veterans who have lost their battle with PTSD per year\, an average of 22 per day. From May 28-30\, walk or drive by the Naval Park to see the installation.  \nFor a $22 donation\, you will receive one of the flags from our Memorial Day weekend salute along with a certificate.
